hundreds of thousands? Do you fully understand that it

is with materials of death and destruction supplied to

Japanese medmen by your own country, that the bodies of our

people are being broken in pieces, burned, and horribly

mutilated?

The

American and British exporters furnish to Japan materials

without which her massacres in China would be impossible.

Japan's militarists ride into our country in American trucks

and armored cars, and in tanks driven by American engines.

They come into China driven by oil - American oil, for your country supplies 64% of all Japan's petroleum imports. The bombs Japan drops use American scrap iron or steel: your country supplies Japan with 33% of her iron imports.

Japanese planes that carry death over our cities use American

parts or are built in plants sold to Japan by American

manufacturers. Tens of thousands of our working people have been killed by cargoes of high explosives hurled at us by Japan. Yet those raiders whose deeds horrify you are

armed with products made by American labor, financed by

American capital, loaded by American longshoremen, and often sailed to Japan by American seamen in American ships.
